VG Speaks at San Diego Green Building Conference
Verdical Group’s Director of Projects Rebecca Ramsdale presented TRUE ESG, Waste No Time in Creating Business Value at the San Diego Green Building Conference & Expo in October 2023.
The rapid-fire panel also featured Pablo Alvarez, CEO at Hermosillo Group, a Construction-General Contractor Company which Verdical Group worked with to develop an ESG Report and roadmap earlier this year.
Chelsi Tryson, Director of ESG at WillScot Mobile Mini (a Modular Space vendor), and Caroline Niemiec, Sustainability Director at Premier Recycle (a comprehensive C&D Materials Logistics company) made up the remainder of the panel.
These speakers discussed how collaboration amongst stakeholders leads to greater sustainability alignment and success. Using a TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) mindset, these teams were able to “design out waste.”
Team members from Verdical Group’s San Diego office also attended and volunteered at the conference to help support our local San Diego Green Building Council.
