VG Presents at High School Career Day
For the third consecutive year, Verdical Group Founder & Principal Drew Shula presented to students at the 10th Annual Environmental Charter High School (ECHS) Career Day. ECHS is an award winning, free, South Los Angeles public high school that prepares students for 4-year colleges using the environment as a lens for real-life learning. 98% of ECHS graduates complete the coursework necessary for admission to a four‐year college or university (compared to about 35% statewide).
The theme for this year’s event was sharing stories of risk and reward with students. Drew was joined by professionals from 60 other organizations including Falcon Waterfree, Kilroy Realty, Heal the Bay, National Park Service, and UCLA.
