VG CEO Drew Shula Speaks on 1% for the Planet Global Summit Panel
Verdical Group’s Founder and CEO Drew Shula was invited to speak at 1% for the Planet’s Global Summit, hosted in Los Angeles on March 15-17, 2022.
His panel, “Move Beyond Platitudes: Implementing an Authentic Commitment,” focused on specific strategies and tactics that companies can use to go beyond making ESG commitments to actually implement them. He was joined by Mary Blanton Ogushwitz of OXO, Jessica Hann of Avocado Green Brands, and Eric Cardenas of LOACOM.
VG has been a 1% For the Planet member company for 9 years and has given more than $100,000 to environmental nonprofits through the program, including: Farms to Grow, Inc.; Food Rescue US; B Lab; the U.S. Green Building Council – Los Angeles Chapter (USGBC); the U.S. Green Building Council – San Diego Chapter (USGBC); 1% for the Planet; Climate Resolve; Honor the Earth; the International Living Future Institute; the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI); EcoDistricts; and the Sierra Club.
