VG CEO and Energy Engineer Speak at Woodbury University School of Architecture
Verdical Group’s CEO, Drew Shula, and Senior Project Manager & Energy Engineer, Frank Schwamborn, recently joined a virtual class on emerging technologies at Woodbury University School of Architecture. The pair spoke about our work at Verdical Group, focusing on net zero design and life cycle analysis (LCAs).
They also discussed a project that the class is working collectively to submit for the 2023 U.S. Solar Decathlon Build Challenge, a two-year program where student teams design, build, and operate a project in their region. Schwamborn walked students through the energy modeling process, and Shula advised the students on key methods and techniques that can help get their project to net zero, which is the team’s goal. The students were invited to attend our upcoming Net Zero Conference, which will be hosted in Los Angeles on September 14+15, 2022.
