Project Updates

Polytechnic School

Verdical Group assisted Polytechnic School in creating a Campus Carbon Reduction Action Plan following a student-led campaign.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the school’s flagship net zero energy project: nine all-electric heat pumps now heat and cool the gyms, while new reflective “cool roof” technology lowers gym temperatures on hot days, reducing air conditioning needs. A 432-panel solar array powers the gyms with renewable energy, offsetting all power needs.

Din Tai Fung Santa Monica

Verdical Group is working with Rothschild Downes and Din Tai Fung to provide Commissioning of the restaurant’s kitchen equipment and HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and domestic hot water (DHW) systems per the Owner’s requirements.

We are also providing a drawings review to ensure streamlined coordination and completeness, as well as Commissioning Oversight to oversee testing and training for additional systems, such as building envelope, A/V, and Ansul systems.
