Verdical Group Nominated for 1% for the Planet Summit Award
We are proud to announce that Verdical Group has been nominated for a 1% for the Planet Summit Award! Our team couldn’t be more honored — becoming a 1% for the Planet Member Company was one of the first things we did as a business.
Through this membership, our organization has given more than $180,000 to environmental nonprofits. The commitment has also incentivized us to offset our entire historical carbon footprint, refuse money from companies funded primarily by fossil fuels, and divest our assets from fossil fuels, tobacco, prisons, and firearms. We’re so proud of all we’ve accomplished as part of the 1% community.
The annual awards program honors 1% for the Planet community members making a profound impact on the climate movement. Nominees are best-in-class stewards of the 1% for the Planet mission; our fellow nominees include 818 Tequila, Klean Kanteen, and Atmos Financial.
The winners will be announced at 1% for the Planet’s upcoming Global Summit in San Diego, CA.
