Verdical Group worked with VERDE partitions to source information required to register Declare labels through the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). Declare labels are transparency labels that disclose product materials ingredients — consumers are able to see if toxic materials exist in the products they’re purchasing, just as a consumer in a grocery store can see the ingredients in the food they buy printed on the product packaging.

The original driver for this service was the nearly one-million-square-foot Google Charleston East campus project, which pursued Living Building Challenge (LBC) Petal certification. In order to meet LBC Materials Petal requirements, Declare labels for VERDE’s products needed to be completed through ILFI. We coordinated with VERDE’s many suppliers to ensure materials information was captured and transparently reported through the Declare process.
