The Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project is an approximately 103,000-square-foot new construction project that includes space for public safety operations support, training, and administration.

Verdical Group is working with the project team to provide the following services in pursuit of LEED Gold certification, setting a higher bar than the project’s original goal of LEED Silver:

• LEED v4 Project Management (Pursuing BD+C Gold certification)
• LEED Energy Modeling 

The $152M building will consolidate police administration and administrative services, records, evidence and property, communications, investigations, community policing, SWAT, shared training amenities, and a larger temporary holding area into one facility.

Approximately 66% of this all-electric project’s energy use is offset by solar panels, and it also features efficient and sustainable design considerations such as an HVAC split system, heat pump water heaters, and EV charging stations.
