The Los Angeles County La Puente Enhanced One-Stop Center houses vital county services, including the Los Angeles County Public Works: Building and Safety Division and Environmental Engineering Division, the Department of Public Health, the Department of Regional Planning, and the Board of Supervisors District 1 (SD1).

Verdical Group is working with the County and DLS Builders to provide: 

• LEED Project Management (BD+C v4 & v3 Silver certified)
• CALGreen Commissioning
• LEED Fundamental Commissioning
• Energy Modeling (Title 24 & LEED)
• Ongoing Systems Monitoring

The 6,856-square-foot project is targeting LEED certification under the LEED v4 BD+C New Construction rating system.

The project team has prioritized electrification, and resiliency throughout the planning, design, and construction process. Sustainable landscaping design and a greywater system help to reduce water consumption on-site. A thoughtful building envelope design helps to reduce the need for cooling, while roofing with high solar reflectance and light-colored pavement minimize the heat island effect. A rooftop PV system supports the building’s energy needs, including powering onsite EV chargers.
