Los Angeles Pierce College’s (LAPC) new Academic West building is an approximately 30,000-square-foot education project located in Woodland Hills, CA. Verdical Group is working with Charles Pankow Builders to provide:

• LEED v4 BD+C (Targeting Gold) Project Management
• LADWP Zero by Design Incentive Project Management
• Title 24 and LEED Energy Modeling
• Daylight Modeling

The project is aiming to achieve LEED v4 BD+C Gold certification. 

Designed as a hub for various academic disciplines, Academic West will house general education classrooms along with dedicated spaces for architecture, media arts, multimedia, philosophy, and sociology. Beyond classrooms, the building will feature an art gallery, multiple labs, a media production soundstage, and a fully functional radio station, providing hands-on experiences for students pursuing careers in these fields.
