The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is located in Pasadena, CA. Verdical Group provided LEED v4.1 Project Management to achieve O+M EB Gold Certification for buildings 171, 202, and 241, which are collectively referred to as Materials Administration. The certification was focused on multiple operational measures, in addition to improving energy performance, water performance, transportation access, and human experience.

The process required the team to reassess some of their policies related to facility management, including purchasing, facility maintenance, and green cleaning. A waste audit was conducted in order to identify everyday waste, and a plan was put in place for its responsible disposal.
