La Kretz Innovation Campus 1st to Achieve Dual Certifications
This month, the La Kretz Innovation Campus project — Verdical Group’s DTLA office for which we are providing Net Zero Energy Modeling — became the first building to achieve both LEED v3 Platinum in New Construction & WELL v1 Gold Core and Shell certification. The WELL Consultant was A SustainAble Production (ASAP) and the LEED consultant was BuroHappold Engineering. The project is owned by the Los Angles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) and serves as the home of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator. The LEED and WELL plaques were unveiled at a ceremony onsite as part of Verdical Group’s Net Zero Conference & Expo in October.
