If you’ve been a part of Verdical Group’s community for a while, you will know that environmental justice is racial justice. The Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN) has been working since 1993 to ensure all people have a clean and healthy environment driven by a local, healthy economy rather than an extractive one.
APEN is hyper-focused on standing up to big polluters, sourcing renewable energy in poor and working-class communities, fighting for safe and affordable housing, building more resilient communities, and mobilizing the power of Asian voters.
