IWBI Announces Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air Roadmap, Shula Quoted

The Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air launched the Global Framework for Action: Advancing Healthy Indoor Air through Societal Engagement and Market Transformation, a landmark global roadmap designed to situate healthy indoor air as a public health imperative and a market priority.

Verdical Group’s Founder & CEO Drew Shula is proud to be one of more than 200 commissioners from over 40 countries involved in the year-long process of developing the roadmap, which encompasses 40 strategic focus areas and nearly 180 recommendations for market transformation on healthy indoor air policy adoption.

Released during Climate Week in New York, the Framework provides a comprehensive strategy and “calls on governments, multilateral organizations, public health institutions, businesses, building practitioners, researchers, financial institutions, professional organizations and communities to move beyond isolated interventions and align the policies, investments, innovations and everyday decisions that shape the air people breathe indoors.”

“If you don’t have good health, nothing else matters, and healthy air to breathe is paramount to a healthy lifestyle. It’s so inspiring to launch this Global Framework for Action, providing a playbook to drive positive change for global air quality in the decades ahead. Here’s to clean and healthy air for all people on planet Earth!” said Shula, quoted in the release.
