Highland Bridge MOB Certification Covered by Finance & Commerce

Verdical Group’s Highland Bridge Medical Office Building is the first LEED-certified building on a 122-acre development in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

“The Highland Bridge development achieving LEED certifications is a significant accomplishment for our entire community,” St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter said in a release covered by Finance & Commerce. “I am grateful to be in partnership with Ryan Cos., whose dedication to environmental responsibility made this possible.”

Our team worked with Ryan Companies US, Inc., to provide:

  • LEED v4 Project Management (BC+C Silver certified)
  • LEED Fundamental Commissioning
  • LEED Enhanced Commissioning
  • Energy Modeling

The project team was able to achieve a water use reduction of 40% compared to the baseline, model an energy cost savings of 11%, and divert 78% of C&D waste away from a landfill. We also prioritized environmentally preferable, low-emitting, and healthy materials. The team achieved a LEED Pilot Credit for Social Equity Within the Project Team and a Green Education Program set the project up for ongoing success.
