GB&D Magazine Article on USGBC-LA Award
As noted in the April 20, 2017 GB&D Magazine, “10 Things You Need to Know Today” newsletter, The U.S. Green Building Council – Los Angeles Chapter (USGBC-LA) was awarded a 2016 County of LA Green Leadership Award for its “Road to Greenbuild” initiatives. The International Greenbuild Conference and Expo was held in L.A. for the first time in 2016, which gave USGBC-LA the opportunity to showcase environmentally sustainable buildings, educate businesses on greening their operations, and connect women leaders through the Women in Green Forum. Verdical Group’s Holly Hill and Drew Shula served on the Greenbuild 2016 LA Host Committee for which the award was given, and currently serve on the USGBC-LA Board of Directors.
