CGTN Interviews VG CEO Drew Shula on U.S.-China Climate Collaboration

Drew Shula, Verdical Group’s Founder & CEO, was recently interviewed by the China Global Television Network (CGTN) about the climate progress made at the 2025 Summer Davos Forum.

Shula noted that, as two of the largest global emitters of carbon, China and the U.S. are critical to making positive change. They can utilize forums like Davos to share strategies for reducing emissions in every industry and encourage countries to work together globally to solve the climate crisis.

He also spoke about how companies, local government, and individuals across the U.S. are continuing to work toward a more sustainable future despite setbacks at the national level due to the change in administration.

The Forum was held in Tianjin, China, on June 24 to 26. Conversation around the theme “Entrepreneurship for a New Era” covered various topics in addition to environmental sustainability and new energy, including the global economy, industry disruptions, and investment in human capital.

CGTN is one of China’s largest news stations, with 387M viewers. Watch the interview segments below and read more about U.S.-China collaboration and making headway despite political challenges on their website.
